Motueka’s delightful combination of lemon and lime notes backed by a delicate, floral spice is a result of its parentage, as Motueka is a cross between Saaz and a New Zealand breeding selection. Motueka works well in Mexican lagers, Pilsners, Maibocks, saisons, Belgian ales, and even American pale ales. It’s a versatile hop that can be used effectively throughout the boil, with best results coming from later additions. Amplifire is the proprietary condensed pellet form from Clayton Hops, the largest hop farm in New Zealand.
