Motueka’s delightful combination of lemon and lime notes backed by a delicate, floral spice is a result of its parentage, as Motueka is a cross between Saaz and a New Zealand breeding selection. Motueka works well in Mexican lagers, Pilsners, Maibocks, Saisons, Belgian ales, and even American pale ales. It’s a versatile hop that can be used effectively throughout the boil, with best results coming from later additions.
