Progress was developed as a low-cost substitute for Fuggle in the 1950s before being released to the public in 1964. Slightly sweet and subtly bitter, Progress features pleasant and Fuggle-like aromas of fresh flowers, grass, dried mint, and earth. Progress provides a full, rounded bitterness when used early in the boil.
