Developed in Southern Germany as a potential substitute for Hallertau Mittelfruh, German Hersbrucker is a workhorse aroma hop often found in traditional Continental-style lagers and some Belgians. It sports a mild yet balanced aroma of floral, fruit, and spice. Compared to Mittelfruh, Hersbrucker has a slightly more pungent fruit character.
